REPORT ON ALUMNI MEET

Food Tech Alumni meet was held on 14 – 07 -2022 at 10 : 30 am in the seminar hall. The program was attended by 50 alumni’s working abroad as well as in India, in the first session. The general body meeting was held in Forenoon session. An interactive session was conducted in afternoon by the alumni & students. The program started with welcome speech by president Mr. Vinod Rajasekharan , Proprietor Stone field  Technologies, inaugurated by principal Dr. Mansoor Ali Sir , Felicitated by Management Secretary OP Abdul Rahiman &  Department Head Cibia George.  Inaugural Function was followed session on “APPLICATION OF ENZYME IN FOOD INDUSTRY”, handled by Mr.Sajid Akbar M.V Novozyme Australia.. The second session was conducted by a panel of alumini on food safety. Mr.Sajesh T Food safety solutions, Eid Kamal , Saju Thomas True safe solutions , Mohammed Jafer consultant &Proprietor Nagarick were the panel members . It was an interactive session with the students.  Discussion on future plans like syllabus modification, inplant training, functioning of pilot plant session on Areas of job opportunities for food technologist during induction programme for freshers, was briefed by president. Suresh Mammen Thomas, General Manager Malanad Foods as well as coordinator finishing school submitted report on Sessions and activities of finishing programme conducted during 2021-22. The vote of thanks conducted by Muhammed Shah MARS Dubai & student representative Arshad .   Meeting came to a close at 4.30 pm
